Hours before Prada unveiled its exquisite fall 2023 collection, Emma Roberts did a photohsoot as she was getting ready for the big event for Harper’s Bazaar on Thursday, February 23, in Milan, Italy.
Here’s some excerpts from Emma’s photoshoot and interview for Harper’s Bazaar:
“When we put the outfit together, we thought, well, it’s so sweet and so beautiful…but let’s make it more me,” the actress told me over the phone after the show. “So I threw this oversized Prada jacket over it and that made the look!”
“When I found that I was invited to Prada, I was immediately just dying to see the outfit,” she said. “I love everything Prada does.”
“All the gold felt very right,” she said of her Prada fine jewelry necklace.
“I loved all of those great floral looks, worn with masculine blazers,”
“I love the juxtaposition of feminine and masculine. I thought it was so special.”
“I love how the show ended and it didn’t end with some grand looks. It just ended with a very Prada look. That was so chic.”
“I took my name off my seat at the show. I thought, ‘I gotta keep this!’ It says Prada, Emma Roberts! I just had to take it.”

“I felt the strapless was so gorg but we wanted to do something a little bit different because if we’re going to Milan Fashion Week, let’s do something more unique! And that doesn’t necessarily mean dressier….it just means different.”
“When I was younger, all the cool girls had the Prada nylon. And so when I got the Prada nylon backpack, I was like, ‘I’ve arrived!’”
“I loved the gold Mary Janes. A pair of good Mary Janes is my everything!” she said of her footwear choice. “I was so excited to really see Prada reinvent the Mary Jane again on the runway, too.”

Emma Roberts (Madame Web) and Laurence Fishburne (The Matrix franchise) have been set to star in sci-fi thriller The Astronaut, which is being produced by A Quiet Place and The Purge producer Brad Fuller.
Production is due to start later this year in Ireland on the film in which Roberts will play astronaut Sam Walker who is found miraculously alive in a punctured capsule floating deep off the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. General William Harris (Fishburne) arranges for her to be placed under intense NASA surveillance in a high security house for rehabilitation and medical testing. When disturbing occurrences begin happening around the property, Walker fears something extraterrestrial has followed her back to Earth.
Jess Varley (Phobias) will make her solo writing and directorial debut. Also producing are Eric B. Fleischman (Sleight) and Cameron Fuller (The Girl in the Woods).
Highland Film Group is representing international rights, launching sales at this week’s European Film Market. CAA Media Finance and the UTA Independent Film Group are co-repping domestic rights.

EXCLUSIVE: In-demand actress Emma Roberts is in final talks to join Oscar winner Geoffrey Rush in action-comedy Verona Spies, which will be directed by comedy veteran Frank Coraci, known for movies including The Wedding Singer and The Waterboy.
Luminosity Entertainment is handling world sales, co-financing and launching the project at the AFM this week.
Roberts, currently in production on Sony’s Spider-Man spinoff Madame Web, will play the title role of Verona, “a loveable hot mess” who, through a case of mistaken identity, is hired as an escort/assassin. Her mission: to seduce a pharmaceutical executive and steal his formula for a revolutionary new drug that can change the world. When she meets her charmingly handsome target, sparks fly. Instead of killing him they decide to team up and flee for their lives as Big Pharma and hired killers come gunning for them. Casting for the pharma exec-come-lover is under way. Rush will play the exec’s boss, the head of the pharmaceutical company.
EXCLUSIVE: The stacked multi-generational romantic comedy Maybe I Do, starring Diane Keaton, Susan Sarandon and a host of others, has sold to a bunch of key international territories.
The flick, written and directed by Oscar nominee Michael Jacobs (Quiz Show), has been acquired for the UK (Signature Entertainment), South Africa (Empire Entertainment), France (Originals Factory), Greece (Spentzos Film), Italy (Eagle Pictures), Portugal (Lusomundo), Scandinavia (Mis Label), Spain (YouPlanet Pictures and Beta Fiction), Turkey (Bir Film), Eastern Europe (Vertical), Baltics (Acme), Israel (United King), Latin America (IDC and Muchos Amigos Pictures).
The film’s plot follows Michelle and Allen who have reached the point in their relationship where they are considering the next steps and decide to invite their parents to finally meet. The parents already know each other well – really well – leading to distinct and defining opinions about the value of marriage.
The stacked ensemble features Diane Keaton (Annie Hall), Richard Gere (American Gigolo), Susan Sarandon (Thelma and Louise), William H. Macy (Fargo), Emma Roberts (We’re the Millers), and Luke Bracey (Elvis).

Vertical Entertainment has acquired North American rights to the romantic comedy, which will receive a domestic rollout on January 27, 2023.
